Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and connection with our students, families, and community. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are grateful for the partnership you bring to Donald Graham each day.

At Donald Graham, we remain committed to providing high‑quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and a safe and supportive environment for all students. Our dedicated staff works together to ensure each learner feels valued, challenged, and prepared for the opportunities ahead.

As we begin the new year, we invite families to stay engaged and connected in the following ways:

  • Stay involved in your child’s learning. Ask questions, celebrate progress, and reach out to teachers when needed.
  • Read daily at home. Even a few minutes of reading each night strengthens skills and builds a love of learning.
  • Participate when possible. Whether through PTA, volunteering, or attending school events, your involvement strengthens our school community.
  • Encourage a growth mindset. Help your child embrace challenges, celebrate effort, and recognize their unique strengths.

Communication and collaboration are central to our shared success. Please know that my door is always open. If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas, I welcome the opportunity to connect.

At Donald Graham, we believe that strong partnerships between school and home create the foundation for student success. We are grateful for our families and community members who continue to support our mission and help make DGE a positive place for every student to thrive.

This year, we continue to focus on high-quality instruction, academic rigor, and meeting the individual needs of all learners. We ask for your continued partnership in the following ways:

  • Read with your child daily. Whether your child is learning to read or already reading independently, time spent reading together builds a love of learning and strengthens literacy skills.

  • Join our PTA. When families and educators work hand-in-hand, our school grows stronger. Your involvement—big or small—makes a difference.

  • Volunteer when you can. Whether you have 10 minutes or an hour, your time and talents are valued. Ask your child’s teacher how you can help—there are always ways to support from home or school.

  • Reinforce the value of education. Talk with your child about school, ask about their day, and share how you use what you’ve learned in your own life. Your interest shows them that learning matters.

  • Celebrate your child’s uniqueness. Every child brings something special to our school community. Helping them recognize their strengths builds confidence and encourages growth.
